Meet the Bandits
Three friends. One mountain water supply. And a growing operation that has no business being this good. In 2022, Josh, Wade, and Alan built a hydroponic facility in Western Montana fed by pure Rocky Mountain water and a stubborn refusal to grow anything ordinary. Josh and Wade engineered the system that gives them the conditions to thrive. Josh integrated the monitoring equipment. Alan built the infrastructure that keeps everything running, even when the grid does not cooperate. What they grow together ends up at your farmers market, your table, and nowhere near a cold storage warehouse.
Josh
Grower
Josh’s mother taught him how to take care of plants, as well as how important they are for us on this earth. Her favorite garden was the rose garden that she planted, tended, and curated with great care. His daughter also grew to love flowers and tended them under her grandmother’s care. His daughter was excited to help out with taking care of the plants and watch them grow to become fully mature producing plants. Tragically in February of 2024, both were lost in an accident. He has decided to keep going to honor both of them because he knows that’s what they would want him to do and in doing so grow the best produce in honor of their memory.
Wade
Grower
Wade has deep roots in Western Montana and his heritage has taught him the importance of the earth and our connection to the plants and animals thereon. He has years of experience working with children from all backgrounds who need extra care and has specialized in analyzing environments that are conducive to their development. His experience has proven useful in the construction and refining the Pepper Bandits’ state of the art growing process. When Josh lost his mother and daughter in 2024 he committed to work even harder to refine and perfect the system used to create our product.
Alan
Builder
Alan, a local contractor in Lake County and gardening enthusiast jumped both feet into the hydroponic growing system when Josh presented the idea. He spent many hours setting up the backbone of the hydroponic system to ensure the state of the art facility could produce the product reliably. The system not only provides a plant utopia; it can do it even when public utilities are interrupted. In the midst of construction, Josh’s family tragedy paused things while He built custom caskets for the family to lay their loved ones to rest. He has been a long time friend of the family and is eager to support the Pepper Bandits in the endeavor of producing their product line especially fire roasted Chilis.
